Project Soar’s core program is a 25-workshop series to empower adolescent girls by helping them to understand their Value, Voice, Body, Rights & Path. We are now launching Soar Your Way, an online platform to offer the workshop materials and training on how to implement the program for use by partner organizations (“train the trainer”). This initiative will provide a sustainable online facilitator training program and downloadable empowerment curriculum for civil society organizations, schools, and agencies across Morocco and the broader MENA region (Soar Your Way Platform).

To support this transition, Project Soar seeks an experienced Ed-Technology Consultant to evaluate and select a secure, user-friendly existing e-learning platform that supports both English and Arabic, design and configure it to meet Project Soar’s requirements for usability, customization, and security. We aim to have an interactive, self-paced facilitator training program, downloadable empowerment curriculum, certification tools, and M&E features, with a focus on accessibility, and data protection.We will use an existing educational learning management system to host the resources. The Project Soar staff should be able to continue the administrative management of the tool post-launch.

Objective :

The objective of this consultancy is to have an online platform where organizations and facilitators can access key information and resources to be able to effectively deliver the Project Soar workshops to girls in their own communities.an interactive, self-paced facilitator training program, a downloadable empowerment curriculum, certification tools, and M&E features, available in both English and Arabic, with a focus on accessibility, and data protection.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Soar in evaluating and selecting a secure, user-friendly existing e-learning platform that supports both English and Arabic, then design and configure it to meet Project Soar’s requirements for usability, customization, and security.

• Upload already-prepared training content, including videos, manuals, workshop curricula, and assignments, and develop an interactive, self-paced training program format.

• Upload and adapt the 25 workshop Soar curriculum into a format that allows for customizable downloads (the user can choose to download all or part and in a format that would allow the user to edit the curriculum directly). This is the content that the platform learners will use when delivering the Project Soar program within their communities.

• Set up user roles, access levels, user accounts, and automated digital training certifications.

• Integrate monitoring and evaluation tools for key indicators, including tracking training completion, curriculum downloads, platform usage, and beneficiary impact data.

• Deliver training sessions to Project Soar staff on platform use, updates, and management.

• Provide clear technical documentation, including user manuals, maintenance manuals, and standard operating procedures. 

• Post-development support to address any technical issues or enhancements as required.

• Conduct thorough internal testing of the platform and adapt functionalities based on Project Soar team feedback and observed issues.

• Assign all materials, code, and documentation developed under this consultancy to the exclusive ownership of Project Soar.
